What this page covers

This covers www.simsync.app, the marketing site you are reading now. The SimSync application and the desktop helper are separate and are not described here.

The email you give us

The only thing this site asks for is an email address, and only if you type one into a beta signup form. We use it for one thing: to email you when SimSync is ready for you, plus the occasional note about the beta. No newsletter, no marketing lists, no selling it on.

Submitting the form sends your address to a signup endpoint we run at www.framelink.quest, where it is stored in a Cloudflare database. Cloudflare processes it on our behalf.

To have it deleted, email privacy@simsync.app.

Analytics

We use a self-hosted Umami install to count page views. It sets no cookies and does not follow you across other websites. It records the page you visited, the site that referred you, and coarse details like country and browser.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Things loaded from elsewhere

Fonts come from Google Fonts, so loading a page tells Google your IP address. That is the only third party in the page load besides the analytics above.

How long we keep it

Signup addresses are kept until SimSync launches and you have had the chance to make an account, or until you ask us to delete it. Analytics data is kept in aggregate and is not tied to you.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or the EU, the GDPR gives you the right to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it erased. One email to privacy@simsync.app is enough for any of those.

Changes

If we start collecting something new, this page changes first. The date at the top tells you when it last did.
